On Monday, September 28th, the Glass Fire ignited and spread rapidly through the hills and vineyards of Napa Valley. Unfortunately, the fire caused significant damage to many wineries in the area, including Davis Estates in Calistoga. The fire burned everyting around the winery, including its surrounding vineyards and structures, but thankfully the main winery building, tasting room, caves, and historic barn were saved from destruction. The staff at Davis Estates is currently assessing the damage and working with local authorities to ensure that all safety measures are taken as they begin to rebuild.
