Best End Brewing Co. officially opened its doors to the public on the afternoon of Friday, September 20th. As an expert sommelier and brewer, I had been eagerly anticipating this momentous occasion. The excitement was palpable as beer enthusiasts from all over flocked to the Lee + White complex in West End, just off of the Westside Beltline trail, to witness the grand opening of this highly anticipated brewpub.
I arrived at the location shortly before 4 p.m., and already there was a buzz in the air. The brewery was conveniently situated next to the Cultured South fermented market and taproom, creating a delightful synergy between the two establishments. The aesthetic appeal of the Lee + White complex itself was impressive, with its industrial-chic design and vibrant atmosphere.
Stepping inside Best End Brewing Co., I was immediately struck by the inviting ambiance. The interior was thoughtfully designed, combining rustic elements with modern touches. The warm lighting, exposed brick walls, and wooden accents created a cozy yet trendy space that was perfect for enjoying a pint or two.
As I made my way to the bar, I couldn't help but admire the impressive array of beer taps lining the wall. Best End Brewing Co. certainly didn't disappoint in terms of variety. They offered a wide range of styles, from crisp and refreshing lagers to hop-forward IPAs and rich, malty stouts. Being a lover of all things beer, I was thrilled to have such a diverse selection to choose from.
After much contemplation, I decided to start with their flagship IPA, aptly named “Best IPA.” The beer poured a vibrant golden hue, and its aroma was a tantalizing blend of citrus and pine. The first sip revealed a well-balanced brew, with a pleasant bitterness and a burst of hoppy flavors. It was a truly enjoyable experience, and I couldn't help but appreciate the craftsmanship that went into creating this brew.
As the evening progressed, the brewpub began to fill up with patrons eager to experience the Best End Brewing Co. for themselves. The friendly and knowledgeable staff made sure everyone felt welcome and provided recommendations for those seeking guidance in navigating the extensive beer menu. It was evident that the brewery was dedicated to providing a memorable and educational experience for its customers.
In addition to its impressive beer selection, Best End Brewing Co. also offered a menu of delicious food options to complement their brews. From hearty burgers to flavorful appetizers, there was something to satisfy every craving. I couldn't resist trying their beer-infused mac and cheese, which proved to be a delectable pairing with my chosen IPA.
The opening of Best End Brewing Co. was a resounding success. The brewpub exceeded my expectations in terms of both atmosphere and quality of beer. It was evident that the team behind this establishment put a great deal of thought and passion into creating an exceptional experience for their customers. I left the brewpub that evening with a sense of excitement and anticipation for the future of this exciting addition to Atlanta's craft beer scene.
