Alter Brewing Company is owned by three individuals: David Yob, Mark Hedrick, and myself, Pete. We came together in 2013 with a shared passion for brewing and a vision to create something unique in the craft beer industry. Our journey towards owning and operating Alter Brewing Company has been filled with challenges, but it has also been incredibly rewarding.
I first met David and Mark through a mutual friend who knew of our shared interests in brewing. We quickly realized that we had a similar vision for what we wanted to achieve in the craft beer world. We saw an opportunity to create a brewery that not only produced exceptional beer but also fostered a sense of community and connection.
After countless conversations and brainstorming sessions, we decided to take the plunge and start our own brewery. In 2015, Alter Brewing Company was born. We pooled our resources, both financial and intellectual, to bring our vision to life. Each of us brought a unique set of skills and experiences to the table, which has been instrumental in the success of our brewery.
David, with his extensive background in business and finance, has been instrumental in the financial management and strategic planning aspects of the company. Mark, on the other hand, is a true brewing genius. His expertise in recipe development and brewing techniques has allowed us to create a diverse and innovative lineup of beers.
As for myself, I have always had a passion for entrepreneurship and a love for craft beer. I have been fortunate enough to have been involved in various business opportunities throughout my career, but Alter Brewing Company holds a special place in my heart. Being able to combine my love for brewing and business has been a dream come true.
Owning and operating Alter Brewing Company has been a rollercoaster ride. We have faced numerous challenges along the way, from navigating the complexities of licensing and regulations to finding the right location for our brewery. However, every obstacle has only made us stronger and more determined to succeed.
One of the most rewarding aspects of owning Alter Brewing Company has been the opportunity to connect with our customers and the community. We have worked hard to create a welcoming and inclusive space where people can come together to enjoy great beer and create lasting memories.
