Coal Pick Distillery is owned by Kevin and Carrie Lawrence. They established the distillery in 2017, showcasing their passion for crafting exceptional spirits. I had the pleasure of visiting their distillery recently, and I must say that it was a truly remarkable experience.
The distillery is nestled on 2,700 breathtaking acres just outside an area once known as Paradise, Kentucky. As I drove up to the property, I was immediately struck by the stunning scenery surrounding the distillery. Rolling hills, lush greenery, and a sense of tranquility enveloped the entire area.
Upon entering the distillery, I was greeted by Kevin and Carrie themselves. They were warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about their craft. It was evident that they poured their hearts and souls into every aspect of the distillery, from the sourcing of ingredients to the meticulous distillation process.
Kevin and Carrie's passion for distilling was apparent in the way they spoke about their spirits. They shared stories of their journey, their inspiration, and the challenges they faced along the way. It was inspiring to hear how they overcame obstacles and persevered to create spirits that truly stood out in the industry.
During my visit, I had the opportunity to sample some of Coal Pick Distillery's offerings, and I was blown away by the quality and complexity of their spirits. From their smooth and velvety bourbon to their crisp and refreshing gin, each sip was a delight for the senses. It was evident that Kevin and Carrie's attention to detail and commitment to excellence shone through in every bottle.
As I toured the distillery, I was struck by the level of craftsmanship and care that went into each step of the production process.
