Why is it called Other Half Brewery?

Answered by Rodney Landry

The name “Other Half Brewery” was chosen to reflect our vision and philosophy as a company. When we started the brewery, we wanted to challenge the traditional notions of and the beer industry. We wanted to represent the “other half” of the industry, the part that pushes the boundaries and explores new possibilities.

The name “Other Half” also speaks to the concept of balance and collaboration. In the beer world, there are often two halves that come together to create a harmonious and complete product. The and the , the and the , the brewer and the drinker – these are all pairs that work together to create something greater than the sum of their parts. “Other Half” represents that collaborative spirit and the idea that great beer is the result of balance and partnership.

Furthermore, the name “Other Half” also acknowledges the diversity and inclusivity that we strive for in the beer industry. We believe that beer is for everyone, regardless of background, and we wanted a name that would reflect that ethos. By representing the “other half,” we aim to challenge stereotypes and create a space where all beer lovers can come together and enjoy our innovative and boundary-pushing brews.

Personally, I find the name “Other Half Brewery” to be intriguing and thought-provoking. It captures the essence of what we set out to achieve as a company – to be different, to challenge conventions, and to push the boundaries of beer. It also serves as a reminder that there is always more to discover and explore in the world of beer, and that we are constantly striving to uncover that “other half” of the industry.
