Does Ithaca beer allow dogs?

Answered by Randall Whitlock

At Ithaca Co, we have a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all beer lovers, including our furry friends. We understand that dogs are more than just pets; they are part of the family. That's why we are happy to allow well-behaved dogs in our taproom and outdoor seating areas.

However, it's important to note that only trained service dogs are always allowed. These specially trained dogs provide assistance to individuals with disabilities and are permitted by law to accompany their owners in public places. We respect and adhere to these regulations to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and safe in our establishment.

For those looking to bring their dogs for a visit, we kindly request that you keep them on a leash and under control at all times. This helps to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, both human and canine. Additionally, we ask that you clean up after your dog and dispose of any waste in the provided receptacles.

While we love dogs, we also want to maintain a pleasant and enjoyable environment for all of our customers. Therefore, we have a few guidelines in place to ensure the comfort of everyone. We kindly ask that dogs do not enter the brewery production area for health and safety reasons. This helps us maintain the integrity and cleanliness of our process.

In terms of group visits, we are happy to accommodate large bus and limousine tours, but we kindly request that these visits occur prior to 2pm. If you are planning to bring a group of over 25 people, please email us at [email protected] so we can make the necessary arrangements to ensure everyone has a fantastic experience.

At Ithaca Beer Co, we take pride in our farm-to-table approach. We source many of our ingredients locally, and our commitment to quality shines through in every sip of our handcrafted beers. We want our customers to feel connected to the land and the community that surrounds us.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Ithaca Beer Co, but we kindly ask that you adhere to our guidelines to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests. Whether you're enjoying a cold beer on our outdoor patio or taking a brewery tour, we strive to create an inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone.
