The von Trapp family still lives in Stowe, Vermont. In fact, they own and operate the Trapp Family Lodge, which is nestled in the beautiful mountains of Stowe. It is not uncommon to run into one of the von Trapps while staying at their lodge.
Johannes, Kristina, and Sam von Trapp, along with their families, actually live on the property of Trapp Family Lodge. This adds a unique and personal touch to the experience of staying at the lodge. It's not every day that you get to interact with the owners of a place you are staying at!

In addition to the lodge, the von Trapp family has also established a brewery on the property. As a sommelier and brewer, I was particularly excited to try their craft beers. The von Trapp Brewery produces a variety of traditional European-style lagers and ales, staying true to their Austrian heritage. I had the opportunity to sample some of their beers during a brewery tour, and I must say, they were exceptional. The passion and dedication that the von Trapp family puts into their brewing is evident in the quality of their beers.
