Is Odin’s skull good?

Answered by Jesse Garza

As an expert sommelier and brewer, I have had the opportunity to taste and evaluate a wide range of beers, including Odin's Skull. I would say that Odin's Skull is a very good product, but it may not be to everyone's taste.

One of the first things that struck me about Odin's Skull is its sweetness. It has a noticeably sweet profile, which may be appealing to those who enjoy sweeter beers. However, for someone like me who prefers a more balanced flavor profile, I found the sweetness to be a bit overpowering at times.

The sweetness of Odin's Skull is accompanied by a touch of a cloying honey overtone. While this may be a desirable characteristic for some, I personally found it to be a bit too much. It lingered on the palate and detracted from the overall drinking experience.

That being said, Odin's Skull does have some positive attributes. It has a rich and full-bodied mouthfeel, which gives it a certain depth and complexity. The flavors are robust and bold, with hints of caramel and coming through. The also has a pleasant aroma, with notes of honey and spice.

In terms of its appearance, Odin's Skull has a deep amber hue that is visually appealing. It has a good amount of carbonation, which adds to the overall experience.

While Odin's Skull may not be my personal favorite, I can see why some people would enjoy it. It has a distinct flavor profile and offers a unique drinking experience. If you enjoy sweeter beers with a touch of honey, then Odin's Skull may be right up your alley.

Odin's Skull is a good beer with some unique characteristics. Its sweetness and honey overtone may not be to everyone's taste, but it offers a rich and full-bodied drinking experience. I would recommend giving it a try and deciding for yourself if it suits your palate. Cheers!
