My journey as a business owner began with a deep love for craft beer and a desire to create a space where people could come together to enjoy great brews. I wanted to bring something special to the community, and so I decided to open Granite Falls Brewery.
Before venturing into the world of brewing, I actually started my career as a sommelier. I spent years studying and working with wine, learning about different varietals, their flavors, and how they pair with various foods. This experience gave me a deep appreciation for the art of fermentation and the complexities of flavor profiles.
However, I always had a fascination with beer and the brewing process. I began experimenting with homebrewing, learning the ins and outs of the craft. It quickly became a passion, and I decided to take the leap and turn my love for brewing into a business.
