Is Budweiser 0 any good?

Answered by Joseph Vos

As an expert sommelier and brewer, I have to say that Budweiser Zero is not a that I would recommend. In fact, it is one of the worst-rated -free beers that I have reviewed. This is quite disappointing, considering that other well-known brands such as Guinness, Stella, and Heineken have done a decent job with their alcohol-free offerings.

When it comes to taste, Budweiser Zero falls short. It lacks the depth and complexity that you would expect from a beer. The flavors are weak and watery, with a noticeable absence of the maltiness and hoppy bitterness that make beer enjoyable. It's almost as if they took a regular Budweiser beer and simply removed the alcohol, without considering the impact on the overall flavor profile.

The mouthfeel of Budweiser Zero is also lacking. It feels thin and insubstantial on the palate, with little carbonation to liven things up. It's a far cry from the satisfying and refreshing experience you would expect from a well-crafted alcohol-free beer.

Furthermore, Budweiser Zero fails to deliver on aroma. There is a distinct lack of any enticing scent that would typically draw you into a beer. Instead, it has a rather mild and unremarkable smell that does nothing to enhance the overall drinking experience.

Even the appearance of Budweiser Zero is lackluster. It has a pale and dull color, lacking the vibrant and inviting hues that you would expect from a quality beer. The lack of a frothy head also detracts from its visual appeal.

In terms of drinkability, Budweiser Zero doesn't fare much better. It lacks the complexity and balance that would make you want to take another sip. It simply doesn't have the same level of enjoyment and satisfaction that a well-crafted alcohol-free beer can provide.

While personal taste can vary, I have to say that Budweiser Zero falls short in comparison to other alcohol-free beers on the market. There are many other options available that offer a much more enjoyable and satisfying experience. I would recommend exploring brands such as Heineken 0.0, Guinness Zero, or even craft breweries that have started producing alcohol-free options.

Budweiser Zero is not a beer that I would consider good. It lacks flavor, aroma, mouthfeel, and overall drinkability. Given the decent job that other known brands have done with their alcohol-free beers, there really aren't many excuses for Budweiser to create such a weak and pitiful alcohol-free beer.
