Where does Casamigos come from?

Answered by Roy Gibson

Casamigos comes from the beautiful region of Jalisco, Mexico. This is where we dedicated years of hard work and research to perfect the creation of our and . Jalisco is known as the birthplace of tequila and is famous for its rich volcanic soil, perfect for growing the blue agave plant, which is the main ingredient in tequila.

During our time in Jalisco, we conducted numerous blind tastings to ensure that we were crafting the finest tequila and mezcal possible. We wanted to create a product that not only met our high standards but also exceeded the expectations of tequila enthusiasts around the world.

One of the things that sets Casamigos apart is our commitment to quality and attention to detail. We wanted to make sure that every batch of Casamigos was consistent and of the highest caliber. This meant meticulously selecting the agave plants, using traditional methods of production, and closely monitoring the fermentation and distillation processes.

But Casamigos wasn't created with the intention of being released to the public. It was actually born out of our personal passion for tequila and mezcal. We had been enjoying these with our friends and family for many years, and it was during these gatherings that the idea of creating our own brand began to take shape.

We wanted to share our love for tequila and mezcal with others, so we decided to make Casamigos available to the public. However, even as it has gained popularity and recognition, we have remained true to our original vision. We continue to produce Casamigos with the same care and dedication that we put into it from the very beginning.

So, when you enjoy a bottle of Casamigos, know that it comes from the heart of Jalisco, Mexico, where we personally crafted every aspect of its creation. It's a product that was made for us, but now we are delighted to share it with tequila and mezcal lovers everywhere.
