Whiskey
Whiskey is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from fermented grain mash. The basic ingredients are water, barley, and rye, corn or wheat. Whiskey is produced in many countries around the world. The most common types of whiskey are Scotch, Irish Whiskey, Bourbon Whiskey and Rye Whiskey.
Whiskey has a long and rich history, with many different variations and styles. Some of the earliest whiskies were distilled in medieval monasteries, using ingredients such as barley, honey, herbs and spices. Whiskey is also known for its distinct flavor and aroma, which can be enhanced by aging in oak barrels or adding special flavors like peat smoke or caramel.
