Adelsheim Winery, located in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon, has an interesting ownership history. Originally founded by David and Ginny Adelsheim in 1971, the winery has seen changes in ownership over the years.
In 1994, Jack and Lynn Loacker became co-owners of Adelsheim Winery alongside David and Ginny Adelsheim. This partnership brought together a wealth of experience and passion for winemaking. As co-owners, they worked together to continue the legacy of producing exceptional wines that showcase the unique terroir of the Willamette Valley.
I have had the pleasure of tasting some of Adelsheim's wines, and I must say they truly capture the essence of the region. The Pinot Noirs, in particular, are outstanding, with their elegant and complex flavors that reflect the cool climate and volcanic soils of the Willamette Valley.
Over the years, I have also had the opportunity to meet both David and Ginny Adelsheim and Jack and Lynn Loacker. They are all incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated individuals who have made significant contributions to the Oregon wine industry.
In 2017, a significant change occurred in the ownership of Adelsheim Winery. Jack and Lynn Loacker purchased the full interest in the winery, becoming the sole owners. This transition marked a new chapter in the winery's history and allowed the Loackers to further shape the future of Adelsheim.
I find it inspiring to see how ownership changes can breathe new life into a winery. It provides an opportunity for fresh ideas, innovation, and a renewed commitment to quality. I have no doubt that under the sole ownership of Jack and Lynn Loacker, Adelsheim Winery will continue to thrive and produce exceptional wines.
The current owners of Adelsheim Winery are Jack and Lynn Loacker, who purchased full interest in the winery in 2017. Their passion for winemaking, combined with their deep understanding of the Willamette Valley terroir, ensures that Adelsheim wines will continue to impress and delight wine enthusiasts for years to come.
