Taxman beer is proudly made in Bargersville, Indiana. This small town is located in Johnson County, just south of Indianapolis. It's a charming and picturesque place, with a rich history and a close-knit community. Being a local myself, I feel a deep connection to this area and take pride in the fact that Taxman beer is brewed right here in our own backyard.
The brewhouse itself is a sight to behold. It's a 20 barrel system, which means we can brew up to 20 barrels of beer per batch. For those unfamiliar with brewing terminology, a barrel is equal to 31 gallons or about 330 standard 12-ounce beers. So, you can imagine the scale of production that can be achieved with a 20 barrel brewhouse.
Taxman's annual production is limited to 6,000 barrels. This deliberate choice allows us to focus on quality over quantity. We believe in brewing beer that is crafted with care and attention to detail, rather than mass-producing it for the sake of volume. By setting this limit, we are able to maintain the integrity of our beers and ensure that each one is brewed to perfection.
